About Diane
Diane became fascinated with pet grooming at the
young age of seven when her mom took her long
haired dog, Shag, to the groomer once a year
whether Shag needed it or not. Her mom knew she
was going to get a tongue lashing from the groomer
as Shag was always matted and dirty, so she
dropped him off quickly and ran! When it was time
to pick Shag up in the afternoon, Diane was always
amazed how handsome he looked. She , at that
time, told her mom she wanted to be a dog groomer
when she grew up. As years passed, pets in the
neighborhood were on alert . She would offer to
give haircuts to all of her furry friends on the block.
Many were shaved and ready for summer! As High
School approached, she wanted to learn to groom
professionally. She approached her ROP counselor
for pet grooming. At that time, grooming was not
offered. Not taking no for an answer, she talked her
counselor into finding a shop that would train her.
Success was obtained and Pet grooming was now
offered for ROP and Diane was professionally
trained by one of the best groomers and shops in
Southern California. As one can tell, after 33 years
of grooming experience, Diane is still living her life
long dream of taking care of God's creatures, one
at a time
